Migrating to the cloud

This is something i need to research more on. What are the questions that arise for a company pondering over migrating to the cloud? i need to find the questions, and then i need to find the answers as well. Some of the questions would be

1. The cloud? what's that? how does it differ from the internet as such?
2. Why should i move to the cloud? How would it benefit my company?
3. Heard there are a number of types of cloud. What type of cloud would suit my needs?
4. What about Return on Investment (ROI)?
5. Will my data be safe? How secure is the cloud?
6. What about maintenance?
7. What about historical data? Can everything be migrated to the cloud?
8. Will my current applications work on the cloud? Will i have to rewrite them to adapt?
9. Will i have to re-train all my resources to work on the cloud?

These are some of the questions that might pop up. There would be many others as well, but for now, this will do. I will try to answer them in future posts.
