Today

Today started well. Fasting has begun. Woke up at 4:30am, and had some food. By 5:00, I was back in my room, and my son woke up. Spent time playing with him and talking to my wife. Prayed and came back. He was talking to me something and I was trying to listen to what he was saying. Didn’t understand a word, though I wished I could. So had to be content imagining what he must have meant when he said ‘GA GAA’ and then ‘GOO GOO’. Had to leave my cousin at the bus stop for his school bus, so took my son along with us. The morning air was cool and fresh. Felt good to be up so early, didn’t know it was so nice. Would like to do this every day, but I know I’ll probably be sleeping the same time tomorrow.

At office too, the day has been strangely calm. Didn’t feel any pressure for any deadlines. Almost drank tea though. Luckily, my colleague shouted and prevented it. Gotta be more careful.

Life is good.
