Million dollar homepage

A 21-year old guy got this silliest of ideas. Make a blank website, sell each pixel in it for $1. There were one million pixels to be sold.

 

And guess what – he sold a million pixels, in around 100 days, and made more than a million dollars! (The last 1000 pixels he put in ebay, and sold for $38100).
