How I broke my leg

This happened when I was in 2nd standard (Yes, i did study that far).
I was waiting at the bus stop with my sis, for the school bus. It was sports day and i was looking forward to a day of fun. i had this feeling that i was the fastest guy around.
Anyways, i suddenly noticed a caterpillar crossing the road. Not just any caterpillar, but the ones i considered my enemy - ചൊറിയന്‍പുഴു (extreme irritation and scratching if you touch it-that's its defence mechanism).
i got into war mode. i looked around for stones. there was a pile of small rocks meant to be for road works (which never happened). I started taking those and throwing at the caterpillar. The caterpillar didn't seem to mind the 'rain of rocks' and walked away coolly. That annoyed me more and i threw even more stones. God was on his side, aim was not on my side, and the caterpillar crossed the road safely and went its way.
Now, i looked at the war-zone (middle of the road). It was strewn with all the small rocks and stones i threw. I started worrying about the poor bikers who might go over the stones and fall off. I had to prevent a potential accident. So what did i do? i went to the middle of the road, and started clearing the stones. I heard a horn, a screeching noise, something hit me and i fell down. It was a scooter. I didn't feel any pain and i dusted my dress and tried to get up. The moment i kept my right leg on the road, it seemed to go into a hole, i was just going down. (My bone had broken.) Now it pained like hell and i couldn't move. Someone lifted me and was carrying me to a nearby clinic. My school bus came at that time. All this while, my sister (one year elder and in 3rd standard) was standing there and watching me. She said, "Ok, you don't come to school today", she got into the bus and went to school!
While being carried to the clinic, I was thinking, "I am going to die, let me try and remember all the people in my life." And I was thinking of all my relatives and school friends, as if that will be the last time I will ever think of them. (Wonder how my 6 year old brain got that idea!)
By then, Dad came to the clinic and took me to a hospital. It was a very painful 30-minute drive.
Anyways, they said i broke some bone in my leg (forgot the name of the bone) and put plaster of paris.
i was in hospital for a few days, and then in bed at home for the next 2 months.
Morals of story : -
1. Beware of Caterpillars - They have powerful guardian angels
2. Don't go back to a war-zone once the war is over - there might be a mine
3. In addition to the "Look to the left, look to the right while crossing the road" statement, they should also add, "Dont stand in the middle, keep walking."
4. Scooter drivers should take care not to stray into battlefields
