Trip Diary - First Half of 2011

Have been travelling a lot lately. In fact, since the beginning of 2011, i have made a lot of short trips. Started with a weekend trip to Ernakulam and Kodungalloor.

Though there was a lot to drive, we visited a number of places, and so the strain was less. It was a relaxing trip. While at kodungalloor, Nas and Hami called, and pushed me to make a trip to UAE. I kickstarted the process, and few weeks later, i was at UAE for a week.

That too was a nice trip, barring a few incidents.

Then followed a lull time for a month or so. Got really busy at work, and at home as well. Then in May, ISG arranged a trip to Alappuzha for a day out in the houseboat.

 There were around 20 of us, and we had a nice time. On the way back, we stopped over at Kayamkulam and spent a day there. A week later, off we went, 15 of us family, to Wayanad.

Spent 3 relaxing days there. That was another great trip with a lot of adventure, nature and wild animals.

That wasn't the end of it. The next weekend, there was a wedding at Eerattupettah, which is around 5 hours from trivandrum. So that was a day of driving for me. The journey was good, though the return trip was quite tiring. If i thought i could relax at least in the next weekend, i was wrong. Another wedding of a close family member, at karunagappally. Another sunday of weddings, relatives, visits and driving all day.

Now i am back at office, relaxing. i have lost hope of relaxing in weekends. Planning to go to Bangalore the next weekend :-)
